Nexpose Software

Nexpose software deployment gives you maximum deployment flexibility, enabling you to install Nexpose on a variety of operating systems. Nexpose software is comprised of the Nexpose Security Console and the Nexpose Scan Engine which can run on two separate machines or on one together. Nexpose Appliance

The Nexpose Appliance is a standalone rack mount processor and includes the Nexpose Security Console and Scan Engines. This self-administered system eliminates the need to install software.

The Nexpose appliance runs a Web server, database server, scan engine and reporting system operating together as the Nexpose Security Console. Users of Nexpose connect using a standard Web browser over an HTTPS connection.

An appliance may contain only a scan engine and be driven automatically from a master Nexpose console. This enables organizations to scan remote segments operating behind firewalls such as branch offices and locations without security personnel or with limited bandwidth capability.

Nexpose Managed Services

For organizations with limited staff resources, Rapid7 also offers a hosted services subscription solution. Run scans from our secure hosted environment or have Rapid7 security consultants provide scanning and interpretation services on your behalf.

Rapid7 On-Demand services provide the ultimate in ease of use. A simple Web browser provides the interface to the Nexpose Console at our secure data center. Perimeter scanning and scanning of public facing devices and services including Web servers, e-commerce systems and information portals provide comprehensive information about vulnerabilities and the mechanisms to eliminate them. Nexpose Hosted Services

With Nexpose Hosted Services, you can externally check for vulnerabilities and policy violations using an engine hosted at the Rapid7 Data Center, safely testing your environment from both inside and outside your firewall and ensuring that any vulnerability at the perimeter of your networks can be identified and fixed.

Nexpose utilizes multiple scanning engines placed throughout your enterprise network sending encrypted scanning information back to Nexpose Security Console residing in your environment.

Private Cloud

Rapid7’s multi-tenant architecture supports private cloud deployments, providing greater scalability and flexibility for large enterprises and MSSPs.
